Stack.HTH data center which launched SDN project was put into operation in 2004 and became the first in Russia data center designed as an outsourcing site for ICT companies (in the first place, tenants of Hi-Tec House business center)
Upgrades and improvements in 2007 allowed to optimize parameters of Stack.HTH engineering infrastructure and ensured compliance of this technological site with up-to-date requirements to fault-tolerant data centers
Operating parameters of Stack.HTH:
Uninterruptible power supply of HTH data center is provided by 4 UPS units of 120 kVA each and 4 UPS units of 60 kVA each. 3+1 (3 “necessary + 1 redundant) approach has been implemented. Emergency power supply is provided by 2 diesel-generators of 550 kVA each
External electric power is supplied from 2 different power supply sources and provides capacity of 2 MW. Configuration and operating parameters of HTH data center power supply system enable to maintain specified operating mode of ICT systems and engineering equipment in any situation including full transfer of the data center onto autonomous power supply
The loading capacity of racks with substandard equipment may be increased to 4 kW
Climate control is performed by precision air conditioning system which consists of 11 conditioners. Climate control system maintains air temperature and humidity in the data center computing premises in accordance with international standards (22 ± 5 degrees Celsius, humidity 45 ±5 %). Air containment system in the cold aisles allows to maintain temperature from 17 to 19 degrees Celsius in the server room
Due to balanced ventilation system installed in the data center, there is no dust in the server room. Pollution and, consequently, overheating of network and server equipment have been fully eliminated
The data center is equipped with all necessary telecommunications resources to provide telecommunication links from any provider located in the two main Moscow traffic exchange points – M9, M10. Moreover, direct fiber-optic cables of telecom providers are available in the data center (list of telecom providers)
All premises and adjacent territory of Stack.M1 data center are guarded 24/7
Access to data center territory is possible with individual magnetic access card. Access to server room of the data center is performed via dual access control system which is fed from UPS. Access to outside perimeter with server rooms and auxiliary premises (premises for on-duty operators, monitoring centers, rooms to perform works with equipment and etc) is equipped with individual access card system. Access to outside perimeter is guarded by data center personnel
The data center is equipped with CCTV system which tracks video received from entry/exit door areas, aisles, racks, electrical and engineering systems, as well as adjacent territories. Independent on-line video surveillance over customer`s equipment with video data transmission to customer`s security service is possible
Floor decks are made of reinforced concrete. There are no windows in server premises
All finishing materials are manufactured of incombustible materials
Server premises of the data center are equipped with automatic gaseous fire suppression system
Specialists of maintenance service who do the monitoring of server and telecommunications equipment deployed in the data center, as well as telecommunications links, electrical and engineering systems are available in Stack.HTH and the other SDN data centers on a round-the-clock basis
Specially equipped client room is made for customers` convenience, as well as to provide for additional measures of physical security in Stack.HTH data center. All necessary conditions for round-the-clock planned preventative maintenance and repair works of customers` hardware and/or software (KVM-remote access is usually applied to work with applications) have been provided. Depending on the tasks and customer these works can be performed both by customer`s employees, as well as qualified personnel of Stack Group. Customers are offered individual storage room cells for rent
Most of Stack.M1 operating parameters is available in the other Stack Data Network data centers. SDN includes Stack.M1 and Stack.HTH in Moscow and Stack.P1 100 km away from Moscow Ring Highway (MKAD)
