Stack Data Network (SDN) is the first Russian network of fault-tolerant data centers. The best international practices and many years` experience of DC-outsourcing in Russia were implemented in the design and development of SDN. According to “Modern Telecommunications”, J'son & Partners Consulting and a number of independent auditing firms, SDN market share amounts to 15-20% of total outsourcing data center services market in Russia
Fault-tolerance of SDN is provided by geographical distribution of its data centers and high level of redundancy of SDN basic engineering systems (N+1)
Today SDN includes:
as well as
One of key SDN advantages is the fact that design, construction and development of SDN technological sites is based on TIER III recommendations of TIA942 standard (ANSI TIA/EIA-942 – «Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Center») which has been industry standard not only for the USA but – de facto – Russia and the other CIS countries since 2005
Prior to the official launch of SDN – two technological sites, unprecedented by Russian standards, one located at Bolshaya Akademicheskaya street (in a specially built HiTech House business-center) and the other – in the building of the largest R&D Establishment at Varshavskoye avenue were put into operation. These two facilities – Stack.HTH and Stack.M1 – became the first Moscow components of Stack Data Network and brought in a new data center era in Russia
Remote operations and maintenance of IT-systems, as well as control over their performance quality is available in all SDN data centers
